Our goal at Tri-R Ranch
is to produce the highest
quality South African Boer goats and Nubian Dairy goats available. To do
this, we have gathered the best genetics from around the United States.
Tri-R goats are known throughout the Pacific Northwest and around the
country as well.
Tri-R Ranch
has
a herd of show quality South African Boer goats and a herd of show
quality Nubian Dairy goats. All our stock are registered in their breed associations and are of top
quality bloodlines. Many are in our show strings and place at the top of
their class.
Tri-R
Ranch is
located in the rural area of Southern Oregon southwest of Grants
Pass.
The clean air along with tree and brush covered rolling hills contribute
to the healthy animals produced at Tri-R Ranch. We came to Oregon for
the slower, healthier lifestyle. Tri-R Ranch started with the typical
homestead stuff - garden, chickens, turkeys, ducks, and rabbits. Nubian Dairy Goats were introduced to clear the understory
from the forest and to provide milk for two growing boys. South African
Boer goats were added along the way and they have taken over most of our
interest.
We are charter members in
the DCMGA The Meat Goat Association headquartered here in Douglas
County. Manda is the Oregon State Representative for the United
States Boer Goat Association. The ranch is a member of all three the
Boer goat registries, the American Meat Goat Assoc. and also the American
Dairy Goat Association.
